Art Gala

7textures was brought in to shake up Googleworks’ Annual Fundraising Gala. So, we worked with their network of donors and the facilities educators to create a fun and memorable event.  Googleworks serves over 250,000 visitors annually, and is one of the largest interactive art centers of its kind in the country. We took their interactivity for the arts and created a cocktail hour featuring workshops sourced from local offerings, as well as wandering entertainment to greet and take photos with guests. For the dinner aspect, we took advantage of the building’s industrial details, and filled the airspace with one-of-a-kind mobiles and floating floral details that twirled above the guests. Once every table was served dinner it was time to fill the airspace with a new detail, which came in the form of aerialists for a tantalizing show that concluded with an illusionary S-Staff ground performance.
