7textures was brought in after the cafe owners had the walls covered in beautiful murals. The space was well on its way, but did not feel complete, so we pulled from the murals to create the color story and went all-in on this 20-person, seated cafe. We designed and painted the cafe sign that hangs in the street, inviting patrons to experience the cafe. Once customers pass through the oversized, India-inspired doors and henna-pattern painted steps, they are enveloped in a ceiling adorned with silk parasols. From there, we recovered the previous tennant’s pizza tables with walnut-stained table tops and added purse hooks underneath them to conserve space. Each chair was then painted one of five chosen shades. To keep the color aesthetic throughout, we also added all five brand color to the bathroom door, completing the space and adding a final pop of color.
